Payments

Payment is made via bank transfer. You receive a unique payment reference (e.g. SH-2026-00451), transfer the amount, and upload your proof of payment (JPG, PNG, or PDF) in the platform. Our team typically reviews this within 2 hours. If rejected, you can re-upload; an unpaid listing is automatically deleted after 5 days of inaction.
You'll receive a notification with the reason for rejection and can immediately upload a new payment proof. If your listing remains without a valid payment for 5 days, it is automatically deleted.
General
Yes, the platform is built fully mobile-first and works as a Progressive Web App (PWA) - you can add the website to your home screen for an app-like experience, without needing to download anything from an app store.
Sranan Handel Online is fully available in Dutch, with English support. You can set your language preference in your account settings; messages and page content adapt accordingly.
Account and Registration
Click "Register" and verify with a WhatsApp OTP code, or sign in directly with your Google account. One account per phone number; a Surinamese number is not required.
Go to your account settings and choose account deletion. This permanently removes your profile and active listings; data that must legally be retained (such as completed payments) may be kept for a period for administrative reasons.
Posting Listings
Log in and click "Post listing". Choose a category, add photos and details, and submit. Your listing goes live once approved (and paid, if applicable).
The first 500 listings on the platform are completely free. After that, a standard listing costs SRD 20. Job postings and room rentals are always free. Cars, motorbikes, homes, and a few other categories have their own fees - check the category for the exact price. You can optionally pay extra for a Premium (+SRD 300) or Top placement (+SRD 150).
Payment proofs and listings are typically reviewed by our team within 2 hours. During busy periods this may take a little longer, but we always aim for fast turnaround.
Listings are rejected for reasons such as: insufficient photos, prohibited content, wrong category, duplicate listing, a missing or incorrect payment proof, unclear photos, or an image flagged by our AI. The rejection reason is shown in your dashboard, after which you can edit the listing and resubmit it.
A listing expires automatically after a set period. You'll receive a notification beforehand and can easily renew the listing from your dashboard - for paid categories, this may require another payment.
Yes. From "My Listings" in your account, you can pause, resume, edit, or permanently remove (archive) an active listing at any time.
For listings in Rent & Property, you can optionally add one video (max 50 MB, mp4/mov/webm) to better showcase your property. Uploading a new video automatically replaces the previous one.
Yes, every uploaded photo is automatically screened for inappropriate content before an admin reviews the listing. Listings with unclear, missing, or flagged photos may be rejected with a reason provided.
Illegal products, misleading information, occult services, and offensive content are not allowed. In case of a violation, your listing will be removed without a refund.
Open the listing and use the WhatsApp or call button to reach out directly. All further communication and arrangements happen outside the platform.
Professionals and Jobs
You can post up to 3 jobs per day, always for free. Up to 5 professionals can respond to a job, after which it closes automatically. If you want more responses, you can unlock 5 additional slots for a fee. All job communication happens via WhatsApp.
Professionals can choose from Basic (SRD 250/month, profile and portfolio, no leads), Pro (SRD 400/month, 30 leads/month, WhatsApp notifications), and Elite (SRD 700/month, unlimited leads, top position, and a Verified badge). Leads reset exactly 28 days from the subscription start date.
After a professional completes a job, you as the job poster receive a WhatsApp request to leave a review. A single reminder is sent (after 48 hours) if you haven't responded yet. Reviews are shown on the professional's profile and count towards their reputation.
The Verified badge is awarded to professionals who have had their identity checked through a manual ID verification process performed by our team. This is available to any professional, regardless of their subscription plan (Basic, Pro, or Elite). It indicates that the profile enjoys a higher level of trust.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time, for example from Pro to Elite; you'll only pay the difference and the new benefits activate immediately, with no refund on your remaining balance. You'll receive a WhatsApp reminder 7 days before your subscription expires so you can renew in time.
